Gas-Liquid Reverse Absorption in a Filled Spray Tower

A filled spray tower is used for gas-liquid reverse absorption treatment of waste gas. Here, the liquid is sprayed as mist or small droplets in a downward direction from the top of the tower. This arrangement enables the waste gas to come in contact with the liquid (washing liquid) as it is discharged from the body of the tower in a reverse flow. This technique makes it possible to cool the waste gas, regulate the gas and remove particles from it. After the demisting section treatment, the exhaust gas gets discharged into the atmosphere.

The fan unit of the system suctions and collects the waste gas into the spray tower.
